LOGIN TO CREATE PRACTICE PLANS
Objective - To transition from D to O efficiently maintaining control of the ball until all players are in place to run offense.
1 - Goalie yells clear or break and the transition begins.
2 - Defensive player 1 and 2 go straight to the bench
3 - Defensive player 3 breaks up the floor as an option for the goalie then heads straight to the bench if no pass from the goalie comes.
4 - Defensive player 4 pops out to the corner for an outlet pass from the goalie.
5 - Defensive player 5 breaks out to the boards as an options for the goalie.
6 - Goalie makes outlet pass to player 4 in the corner.
7 - Defensive player 4 cut into the middle away from the boards to increase angle for a pass to defensive player 5.
8 - After pass to defensive player 5 the defensive player 4 goes to bench.
9 - Defensive player 5 take ball into the neutral zone waiting for Offensive player 2 to get close enough for an easy pass then heads to the bench.
10 - Offensive player 1 breaks out of the bench heading straight to the far side of the net looking for a fast break pass or a loose ball in the far corner. if not ball is there curl behind the net an take crease position.
11 - Offensive player 3 breaks into shooter position.
12 - Offensive player 4 break into far crease position
13 - Offensive player 5 breaks into point position.
14 - Offensive player 2 brings ball into play at far shooter position..
