7E. "East-West" - Up Pick (Off-Ball)

• Players get into a "dice" formation, immediately or disguised within a regular passing cycle. 

• The ball is then passed to the weak-side crease player, which triggers the player in the middle to set an east-west up pick on the off-ball shooter. 

• The shooter runs overtop of the pick (Option #1) and the picker rolls to the middle (Option #2), with the off-ball crease player running up to the soft spot if the roller is covered (Option #3).

7F. "East-West Pick" - 2Pac (2 Passes & Cut) Play

• Starting on-ball on the weak-side and finishing as an off-ball pick & roll, the shooter on the weak-side starts the play by passing to the same-side crease player, then V-cutting to the middle (as if looking for a give-and-go). 

• At the same time, the crease player carries the ball up to the shooter position and the player doing the V-cut stops their route in the middle (fake cycling), turning back to pick on-ball. 

• Before the pick arrives, the ball carrier swings the ball to the point player on the strong-side coming off of a seal (Option #3), then sprints to the back-door crease (Option #2), which forces both defenders to need to switch.  The picker should become wide open in the middle (Option #1), as they roll to the net and receive a quick pass from the point player.
