- Both crease players come up to the mid-boards soft spot and the ball is quickly skip passed to the off-ball crease player who shoots (Option #1), quick stick passes to the far-side crease player (Option #2) or back to the point player (Option #3), for a shot.

8A. Behind The Net - "Off-Ball Up-Pick"
- The point player passes the ball to the opposite-handed shooter, triggering the far-side crease player to go behind the net.
- The ball is then passed down to the opposite-handed crease player who subsequently engages the low defender, triggering an up-pick from the middle player on the same-handed shooter.
- Next, the ball is passed behind the net, with this player passing to the player coming overtop of the pick (Option #2), the roller cutting through the middle (Option #1), or a cutter from the opposite side who cuts if neither of the first two options are open (Option #3).
- The point player fills into the shooter position after the last player cuts, as one last potential option (Option #4).
