Arrange Players in all 6 spots of an Open Set. (Highlighted in black)
Players will move the ball around clockwise, using their footwork to make their passes shorter. The passer, and the player receiving the pass, will run towards each other. Once a pass is received, the player will then change direction and repeat the process to the next position in the open set. When directed by the coach, the players will then begin passing the ball counterclockwise.
Simultaneously, close defenders (highlighted in red) will be stationed at the 4 corners of the defensive end. The ball will be swung around the field, with defenders using their footwork to get 'under the ball' as to not let the pass leave the field in the event the pass is not caught.
