Variation 1 - Midfield rotation (Top Diagram)
Players will line up in the 3 midfield positions of the 2-3-1 set.
A Player from one of the high wings will dodge down the alley. A player from the other two lines will 'follow' the dodger by using their footwork to follow the 2-3-1 rotation (opposite wing will follow, stack player will clear the stack).
The ball carrier will reverse the field by rolling back, and passing the player who was previously at the opposite high wing. The player receiving the pass will then immediately throw the ball to the player exiting the stack for a step-down shot.
Variation 2 - Attack rotation (Bottom Diagram)
Players will line up at the 3 Attack spots of the 2-3-1.
A player at X will pull out for a dodge, giving their other attackmen time to collapse towards the crease in preparation to rotate. The ball carrier will then dodge. Upon breaking GLE, the ball carrier will then reverse the field by either rolling, or using a step-back throw-back motion, passing the ball to the player who filled the ball carriers original position. Upon receiving the pass, this player will then immediately pass the ball again to the 3rd player, who will then take a sweep shot.
