This drill can be done anywhere on the field. Set up a 7x10 yard box of cones. The size of the box can be adjusted based on the athletic ability and skill level of the athletes.
Players will split themselves into either groups of 3-5, otherwise the team will split into two groups.
One player from each team will line up on their teams 'end-line' between two cones spaced 7 yards apart. One player from one of the lines will place a ball on the ground, 1 sticks-length away from them. That player will dictate when the drill will start. The dictating player will pick up the ball and immediately run in the direction of the other player. The other player is released from their 'end-line' and as soon as the ball is picked up from the ground, and approach the ball carrier. The ball carrier's objective is to cross the other players 'end-line' without being pushed outside of the box, or losing the ball.
