The ball starts at the weak-side shooter and gets passed down to the same-side crease player, who passes to the opposite-handed player behind the net.
The player behind the net carries the ball toward their proper-side crease position, with the player standing there moving up to the mid-boards soft spot, receiving a pass.
At this point the two players at the same-side shooter position double-seal and the ball carrier can either shoot (Option #1), pass back to the player at the same-side crease player (Option #2), or pass to the off-ball shooter who cuts through the middle as the ball carrier gets overtop of the double-seal (Option #3).
